Wife of the late Norman Edward McCuaig, Major RCAF (retired). Mother of Ian, Don (Sue) and Liz. Grandmother of Meighan, Mary-Frances (Steve), Scott (Steph), Becky (Nick), Sarah (Shelagh) and Jenny. Great grandmother of Cameron, Ethan, Sebastian, Scarlett, Genevieve, Magnus, Soren, Logan and the late Daisy. Predeceased by brothers Bob, Charlie and Jack. Remembered by many nieces and nephews and even more friends and neighbours, she was always kind and quick to offer a smile and a helping hand.
Her long life began in the small town of Dutton, Ontario, and led to an interesting variety of homes in Canada and the United States as a military wife. The family would like to thank the staff at the Roxborough in Newmarket, and Viva Barrhaven in Ottawa, for their support over the past few years. Many thanks to the caring staff and volunteers at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket for their warm and empathetic care in her last weeks.
