It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick “Paddy” McCabe, 83, who passed away peacefully on Sunday morning March 13, 2022, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, ON.
He was born and raised in Almonte, ON, the eldest son of the late Dennis Arthur and Mary (nee Rooney) McCabe. He was a valued employee with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Ottawa, ON. A career spanning many decades.
Beloved long-term partner to Pauline King, and former spouse and long-time friend to Sylvia (nee Howard) McCabe.
Pop to Kevin, Kerry, Sean (Ryanne) McCabe, and Krista King. Poppa to Mikeala, Jessi, Hayden, Sean Ryanne, Nikki, Keegan, and Rowan. Brother of Terrence (Diane), Joseph, deceased, (Alana), Catherine Mercer (Paul), Michael (Sarah), Anne Boucher (Robert, deceased), and James.
You will be missed. Until we meet again! XO
In accordance with Pat’s wishes, he will be cremated. There will be a celebration of life held in the near future. Memorial donations to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program would be appreciated by the family.
