A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Ed passed away in his 81st year on October 20th, 2022, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario. In his final days Ed was comforted and cared for by his family.
Loving husband of the late Nancy Lynn Loughry. Cherished father of John Paul Loughry and Jennifer Asdrubolini (Giovanni). Doting Puppa to William John Loughry, Emma Lynn & Ella Rose Asdrubolini. Beloved brother of MaryAnn Knowlton, the late Helen Loughry, Chris Loughry, Pat Lesson, Margaret Laurano, Michael Loughry and Jo Ann Howland. Welcomed brother in-law to Don & Vicki McDowell. Loving Uncle to many, many much loved nieces and nephews.
Edward graduated from veterinary college at the University of Guelph in 1971 and established Newmarket Equine Clinic where he proudly served the equine community until his retirement in 2013. After retirement he applied the same passion and dedication to his home, his yard and his grandchildren.
Ed will be missed dearly by his family along with his close friends Les Baker and Don & Jean Furness.
Family & friends are welcomed to the Celebration of Life on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket 905-898-2100 between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m.
