Passed away suddenly at home in Newmarket, on Thursday April 18th, 2024, in his 59th year.
Beloved father of Christopher. Brother of Gordon Lamrock and the late David Lamrock. Dear son of the late George Edgar Lamrock and Margaret Elnor Lamrock (Buie). Beloved uncle of Lauren, Claire and Kate Harvey, David and Ava Lamrock, Andrew Wice, and Joshua Croft.
Steve was born on January 14th, 1965 in Scarborough, Ontario. He moved to Newmarket with his family in 1976 where he would later work as a Print Press Operator for 35 years. On April 15th, 2004 he welcomed his son Christopher who was the most important part of his life.
He was a devoted father and loved many sports. In particular, hockey, football and golf, especially the Montreal Canadiens and Dallas Cowboys. Steve was a talented handy man who would take on many projects over the years. He was an avid motorcyclist who was proud to support the Ride for Sight charity. Steve truly lived life to the fullest.
In honouring Steve's memory, let us celebrate his life and impact he had. Rest in peace dear father, brother, son, and uncle.
Friends and Family are invited to Roadhouse and Rose Funeral home 157 Main St S, Newmarket on Thursday, April 25th from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. for visitation. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 26th at 12:00 p.m. followed by reception.
