October 1, 1932 – June 30, 2023.
Passed away peacefully at Newmarket Health Centre. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years, G.B. La Brash, and survived by her daughter Shannon Lyn and son Shane La Brash. A well-known personality around Newmarket, she will be missed by many close friends. Doreen worked for twenty-three years running the school store at Pickering College where she was much loved by the students. In retirement she volunteered at the Newmarket Health Centre and many of the staff knew her and provided her with excellent care during her final illness.
All are welcome to attend a celebration of her life at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket on Tuesday July 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
