It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Huguette Kostuck in her 88th year, surrounded by her family on Monday March 11, 2024. Beloved wife of Fred, loving mother to Helene (Louis), Desiree (Mike), Michelle (Andrew), cherished Meme, to Ryan, Brittany, Lauren, Lindsay,and;Harrison.
Huguette moved to Canada from Pyrenees, France at the young age of 21 where she then settled in Newmarket, Ontario.
She was set up on a blind date with a fellow immigrant from France, a young Fred Kostuck.
They soon were to marry and built a wonderful life together that started on a farm in Queensville, Ontario that would create a lifetime of memories.
Huguette and Fred just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on February 17. Huguette will be lovingly remembered for her generosity, sweet character, and kind heart.
The family would like to thank the 5th Floor Nursing Team and Doctor for all of the care and compassion over the last 2 years. A Private family service with cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations in Huguette’s
name can be made to the Southlake Residential Care Village Foundation.
