December 22nd, 1941 - December 20th, 2023

Yolande Kiely passed away peacefully at her residence in Sharon on December 20th, 2023, just two days before celebrating her 82nd birthday. She was surrounded by her devoted family. Yolande was the cherished wife of the late John Kiely and the loving mother of Pauline (Michael), Colleen (Cameron), Sean (Anna), and Jim (Kim). She was the adored Memere to Lacey, Leeann, Dylan, Ryan, Léa, Rowan, Fionah, and Mariah, John David and Ava, and the treasured Great Memere to Max, Aiden, Declan, Taylor, Jed, Atla and Dawson.
Born in Alban, Ontario (near French River), Yolande was the daughter of Eugene Beaulieu and Alice Beaulieu (née Rancourt). She was the last surviving member of her 11 brothers and sisters, with her final sister having passed away just three weeks prior.

Yolande was celebrated for her bright and friendly disposition, always offering sage advice with a smile that could brighten even the darkest day. Her larger-than-life personality left an indelible mark on the hearts of many, making her a truly unique and special individual. She had a love for her community, both across York Region as well as at her church, St. Elizabeth Seton in Newmarket. Yolande held a profound belief in the importance of family, imparting the values of respect and care for others across generations. Her role as Memere brought her immeasurable joy, and she treasured it above all else.

The family would like to thank Southlake Regional Health Centre, specifically the palliative care unit and Stronach Cancer Centre, for their dedicated care and support. Special thank you to Dr. Kassam, Dr. Liauw, Dr. Conrad, and their teams for their exceptional treatment of Yolande.

Friends may call at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main Street South, Newmarket) on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 from 7-9 PM. Funeral mass will take place at St. Elizabeth Seton Church (17955 Leslie St, Newmarket) at 11 AM on Thursday, December 28th, 2023 with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Briar Hill Cemetery (5500 Black River Rd, Georgina, ON).
