Albert (Al) Jackson, born November 16th, 1941, journeyed peacefully into eternity on Sunday, February 25th, 2024, at Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, Ontario, in his 83rd year.

He was a devoted husband, a cherished father, a proud grandfather, a beloved great-grandfather, and a well-loved friend by many.
Al was the loving husband of Mary Ann Jackson (deceased), and he is survived by his older brother Art Jackson (Jill), his three children: Rusty, Dwayne (Kim) and Jennifer. He was the proud Poppa of Charlie (Allie) and Jessie (Adam), Madeline, Eden and Faith, Jackson, Jordan, and Joshua. His legacy extends to his great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Brooklyn, and Clayton (Jessie).

Throughout his life, Al exemplified unwavering dedication to his family. His love knew no bounds, and he lived every moment for the joy and well-being of his friends and loved ones. Al left an indelible mark on those who knew him. Al's selflessness and willingness to always be there for his family and friends were hallmarks of his character. He prioritized their needs above his own, demonstrating remarkable generosity. Whether it was offering a listening ear, providing guidance, or offering a helping hand, Al was ever-present, ready to support his loved ones through both the joys and challenges of life.

Beyond his familial role, Al was known for his passions. He found immense joy in cars, auto racing, fishing, and hockey. He savored the simple pleasures of good food and cherished the all the moments spent in the company of family and friends. Professionally, Al was the cornerstone of Speedy Auto Machine (formerly Speedy Radiator) in Newmarket, Ontario, a business he established in the early 1970s. His dedication and expertise contributed to the success and reputation of the establishment, earning him respect within the community.

Al was not just a businessman; he was a man of action, a fixer and a problem solver. People sought his expertise, especially when it came to anything mechanically related. His ability to diagnose and repair was unparalleled, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Albert Jackson's life was a testament to love, loyalty, integrity, genuine passion, hard work, and unwavering selflessness. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may have departed from this world, his spirit will continue to live on in the lives he touched.

A celebration of Albert Jackson’s life will be held on Monday May 6, 2024 from 12 pm-3 pm at Market Brewing Company 17775 Leslie St Unit 9, Newmarket, ON L3Y 3E3. All are welcome to attend and share their stories, memories, and final respects for this remarkable human.
