It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Agnes (Nanette) Hogg Wagstaff, a beloved wife to James Wagstaff, loving mother to Stewart Wagstaff, cherished mother-in-law to Lesley, and adored grandmother to step-grandson Cameron. Agnes peacefully departed this life on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, at 11:15 am at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, after bravely facing breast cancer and dementia with remarkable strength and grace.

Originally hailing from Scotland, Agnes's adventurous spirit led her and James to Canada, where she established a loving home and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Agnes's legacy is one of boundless love, unwavering courage, and infinite kindness, a legacy that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

A service to honour and celebrate Agnes's life will be held at Taylor Funeral Home, located at 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket, ON, on March 16th at 12 pm, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, in recognition of the compassionate care that Agnes received during her final days.

The Wagstaff family expresses their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of support and condolences received during this difficult time. Your kindness and love serve as a testament to Agnes's profound impact on all those she touched.

Forever in our hearts, The Wagstaff Family
