It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Evelyn Hickman, on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the Southlake Village, Newmarket in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Hickman. Loving mother to Bradley (Mary) Hickman, Paul (Tracy Rogers), Kelly Hickman & Jovan February. Cherished grandma to Alexander(Tyler) Hickman, Jasmine Jolivel & Matthew Morgan, Dylan Jolivel & Shelby Bickers-Ledat, Carden Rogers-Hickman. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her siblings; Bill, Dianne, and Garry, she is Pre- deceased by - Ruth, Melvin, Elwood, Johnny, Victor, Iris & Ronnie. She will be fondly missed by her extended family and dear friends. Visitation will be held at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket 905-898-2100, on Wednesday, November 9 from 5-8p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, November 10 at 11:00a.m. with a visitation 1 hour prior to service at 10:00a.m. Interment to follow at Queensville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Evelyn’s name can be made to The Southlake regional Health Centre Foundation or to The Alzheimer’s Society.
