February 24, 1932 - July 17, 2023
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Friedrich Haun (Fred) on Monday July 17th 2023 in his 91st year. Friedrich was the beloved husband of his late wife Erika and the loving partner of Gloria Griffin.
He will be forever cherished and missed by his sons Mathias Haun (Sherry) and Christopher Haun (Megan).
A loving and proud Opa to Erich Haun (Allyson), Elysha, Victoria, Jordan, Liam, Aaden and Great-Opa to Koen.
Friedrich will be missed greatly by Gloria's children Kathy Solluch (Mike), Steven Griffin (Rose) and their families Greg & Amy (Landon, Grayson), Daniel & Courtney and Eitan.
Remembered with great fondness by his family in Germany, his loving friends and his special neighbors. Friedrich took great pride in his gardens, was a master cabinet maker and had a great love for theatre, the opera and his RB Leipzig soccer team.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Saturday July 29th, 2023 at 2 p.m. with refreshments to follow.
