It is with deep sorrow, and much love, that we mourn the passing of our mother Helen Margaret Greig (nee Scott) on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Helen was born on August 10, 1932, in Aberdeen, Scotland, and emigrated to Canada in 1964.
She worked for Connaught Labs until her retirement. Helen loved to line dance, knit, and volunteer at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
She was survived by her children Sandra White (Patrick), Brenda Brooks (Alin), Linda and Albert Young, and Bryan and Marissa Greig. Additionally, she is survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Helen was a loving aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews in both Scotland and Canada.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of her eye, but the love of her life was her late husband Sandy, to whom she was married for 47 years.
Thank you for being a wonderful mum, grandma, and great grandma. We love you and we’ll miss you.
