October 22nd, 1943 - April 12th, 2023
It is with tremendous grief we announce the passing of Catharine Anne Gould (nee McDonald) who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 12, 2023, at 79 years of age.
A Life-long Newmarket resident, she met and married Garry Gould, high school sweethearts, married for 57 years. In spite of being left as an infant with a note pinned to her pyjamas and then growing up in 11 different foster homes, she had a heart with no limitations of how much and how many people she could love. She dedicated her life to doting on her 2 children and 9 grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her neighbours and friends, husband and forever love Garry, her children Laurie (Luke) and Tim (Susan), brother Allan McDonald and grandchildren Madison, Mason, Maxim, Ben, Emma, Sam, Kristen, Carter and Jenna.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public service. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Always a protector and helper she well qualified for her next role as the guardian angel.
