With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Sonia Gazzellone. She passed away peacefully on October 18, 2022 at the age of 51.
She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Ralph which together they enjoyed a happy marriage of 28 years. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Joshua (Kristen), Matthew (Alexis), and Breanna (Mason); her parents Antonio and Graziella Giovinazzo, her siblings and their spouses: Rosario (Silvia), Nadia, Mirella (Frank), and Marco (Sarah); her in-laws Joe and Maria and her brother-in-law Bruno (Laurie), and all her nephews and nieces.
Sonia was kind, generous and loving. She tirelessly devoted herself to her family, in doing so she proved to be a capable wife and a loving mother. She loved Jehovah very much and raised her children to also love Jehovah and dedicate their life to him.
Sonia loved family, and looked forward to Friday nights when the family all gathered together at her parents, and Sunday's with her family at her in-laws. It has often been said that Sonia was the glue that kept the family together.
She remembered every special occasion and would send a loving message to each family member on their wedding anniversary, baptism date, etc.
Her family and friends are comforted by the hope that Sonia held so close to her heart and which gave her life true purpose - the assurance of being able to live together eternally on a paradise earth in the very near future with no more suffering and pain. (Revelation 21:4)
We will miss her faithful example and her beautiful smile.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m.
A Service to Celebrate Sonia’s Life will take place on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 506 Bloomington Road, Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sonia may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or jw.org. Maple congregation. Please click on the "Donation" tab.
