Ahmed Elsiufi, also known as Al, passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at 69 years of age. Loving husband of Ines (nee Balbaboco). Beloved father of Jesse, Rachelle (Jeff), and Tara (James). Brother of Foaud (Fatima), Salma (Adel), Hazem (Omima), Eman (Ibrahim), Ahmad (Marwa), Hoda, Rahma (Mohsen), Salwa (Mohamed), and Mohamed (Israa).
Ahmed was educated at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He studied Accounting at the University of Toronto. He was a practicing accountant at Liberty Tax in Toronto for almost two decades. In 2022, he obtained his mortgage broker license. He was an avid runner, loved to travel and appreciated a good cup of coffee.
The family would like to thank the staff at Southlake for their compassionate care to Ahmed in his final days.
Friends may call at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street, Newmarket on Tuesday, October 24th. Visitation from 1-3 PM with a chapel service at 3 PM, followed by a celebration of life. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
