August 12th, 1940 - January 23rd, 2024
Joseph, known to all as David, was quick-witted, thoughtful, and enjoyed the gathering of family and friends. He loved the sun and was not a fan of the cold.
David was the loving husband to Mary Anne for 48 years, cherished and loving father to Dylana Lang (nee D’Vaz) and Philip D’Vaz. His grandchildren Macaelyn, Keaton and Hudson were the lights of his life, whom he adored and cherished. David will be greatly missed by his son-in-law, Paul Lang, daughter-in-law, Katerina Borisenoka, by all his surviving brothers and sisters, extended family, and friends.
All are invited to pay their respects at Our Lady Queen of the World Church, 10411 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3P2 for the funeral mass at 10am on Friday Feb 2nd, followed by the burial at Holy Cross Cemetery at 12pm.
A small reception to share memories, stories and find comfort in the company of loved ones will be held at Philip’s house.
