It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dave, a remarkable man whose love, compassion, and unwavering dedication touched the lives of all who knew him. He departed this world at home, as he wished, after a heroic and courageous battle, wrapped in the arms of his adoring spouse Bonnie and with family by his side. Leaving us a gift of love and cherished memories that will forever reside in our hearts.

Dave leaves behind his devastated wife of 35 years, Bonnie, his children, Jason & Tara, Sister, Debra & Brother-in-Law Tom, Brother Doug & Sister-in-Law Tina, plus heartbroken nieces and nephews, his beloved Grand-Puppies, and so many friends. Dave was predeceased by his parents Peter and Sandra, his special friend and Father-in-Law Bill, and friend and Brother-in-Law Al.

Beyond his devotion to family, Dave was a man of many talents and interests. A glazier by trade, he was so skilled at his talent that he was featured on many HGTV shows. He had a passion for restoring cars, boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and golf carts. He could look at any household or mechanical project, or problem, and undoubtedly find the solution.

Dave’s warm smile, compassionate heart, and quick wit endeared him to everyone he met. His laughter was infectious, and his love boundless. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the amazing Health Professionals at RVH Cancer Centre, who helped Dave through his brave journey and valiant battle for over 3 ½ years.

Dave’s life, although tragically short, his years with his wife Bonnie, were full of wonderful experiences, countless kisses, never-ending “I love you’’s,, many moments of enjoyment at their summer retreat, travels to many places, and always enjoying each other’s company.

As we mourn the loss of Dave, we also celebrate a life well-lived, and the enduring love he shared. His memory will live on in our hearts and his legacy of love, devotion, and humor will continue to inspire us all.
