Lorraine ‘Woodsy’ Donovan passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 82 years of age. Lorraine was the cherished wife of the late Claude Forget and the beloved mother of Dean (Nicole), Steven, and Nancy. She was the proud grandmother of Molly, Thomas, Henri, Emily, and Adeline. Her memory will be held dear by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Despite grappling with numerous life and health challenges, she handled them resiliently and ultimately lived a long and fulfilling life. She was kind, cool, and a little wild in her ways. In all aspects, she exuded a captivating loveliness that will be remembered fondly by those who knew her.
In addition, Lorraine was a woman of faith—a dedicated Catholic. We find solace in knowing that she has been joyfully reunited with our Lord in Heaven, her spirit forever at peace.
A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., a prayer service will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m.
