Formerly of Newmarket and Aurora, just shy of her 83rd birthday, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with dementia and cancer on January 26, 2024.
Loving mother of Corinne Mason (Steve Mason); dear grandmother of Nicole Grinton (Jamie Hammond) and Ryan Mason (Clare Richard); dear great grandmother of Reid, Logan, Tyler and Dean.
Anne is predeceased by her husband Martin Dol and her son Allen Dol.
Anne will be remembered by her brothers Peter Vanderploeg (Marlene), Hank Vanderploeg (Claudette), Lou Vanderploeg (Brenda), predeceased by her brother Jack Vanderploeg (Kathy), her sister Rita Whelan (Colum), sister Louise Vanderploeg as well as her nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.
Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration (for immediate family/friends) is to take place at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket, Ontario L3Y 2P3., on Tuesday, February 6, 2024., between 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
