Passed away peacefully at Bradford Valley Nursing Home on Saturday April 20th 2024 in his 88th year.
Loving husband of Lorraine married 64yrs. Beloved father of Bob (Sherry), Gary and Tracy (Chris).
Proud grandfather of Ashley (Loic), Carlie (Kyle), Amber (Justin), Mike, Taylor, Travis and great grandpa to Scarlett whom he never got to meet.
Del will be remembered for his “Mr. Fix it”. He could repair or build most anything. Never without a measuring tape, level or a square. He loved his East Gwillimbury Old Timers Hockey Team, arranging all travel from Nashville – Alberta – New Brunswick and many other places. Del spent 53 yrs in the shoe business travelling from Ontario, Northern Quebec, Manitoba & Saskatchewan. He started his career in Aurora with Mahers then moving to Peterborough where he met Lorraine….and the rest is history
