It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Dawn Marie Cordell, on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. Beloved wife and best friend to Anthony. Dearly missed by her parents Heather and Leslie Bodrogi, and her in-laws Barb and Bob Cordell. She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Linda and Debbie, and her nephew & nieces Jeremy and his wife Lori and their children Cameron & Liam, Justin, Tiffany and her husband Stuart and their daughter Paetyn, Victoria, Jessica and Martin. She will be sadly missed by her cousins Leslie Raffay Toronto, Fiorella Cribari Toronto, Sue Penzes, Oakville, Bette Berkes, Newmarket, Candace Penzes-Dawson, Burlington, Tyrone Penzes Belleville , Aunt Susan Bayer Oakville. Dawn will be fondly missed by her Best Friend Kelly Christof
Dawn's education began at Palmerston Public School in Toronto. She continued by attending Harbord Collegiate. Attending Humber College and earned her nursing degree.
Dawn was a bedside nurse for 20 years working at several hospitals gaining experience in critical care nursing. Her first job was at Wellesley Hospital Burn Unit. Followed by time spent at St. Michaels ER, Herrman Hospital in Houston Texas in the ICU, ER, Cardiac Unit.
When she came back to Canada, she worked at Mount Sinai Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital and finally South Lake Hospital ICU. She then decided to try something different but still in the medical field. She has worked for UHN as a contract negotiator for 20+ years. A job she thoroughly enjoyed.

While the family wishes you could all be with them in their time of loss, they appreciate your kind words and condolences.
