Dorothy passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday, December 5, 2022 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Frederick Roy Coates for 70 years. Dear mother of David (Ruth predeceased), Elaine Barnett (Jonathan) and Robert. Grandmother to 7 grandchildren Rachel Duck (Jonathan), Michael Barnett (Jessica), Hannah Simpson (Christopher), Joanna Kumar (Joel), Thomas Coates (Alicia), Paul Barnett (Carrieanne) and Troy Coates. Great-Grandmother to 14 Great-grandchildren Olivia, Evelyn, August, Rebekah, Joshua, Lilianna, Odin, Ella, Elias, Hannah, Makayla, Alexander, Emily and Zoey.

Visitation will occur at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Sunday, December 11 between 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral Service will be on Monday, December 12 at 11 am. Luncheon to follow.
Interment will be at Queensville Cemetery.
