January 6th, 1955 - June 30th, 2023
On Friday, June 30th at 6:44 am, in the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket ON, Maggie lost her short battle with cancer at the age of 68. She passed peacefully holding the hand of her daughter, Corrine LeCollier. Maggie is survived by her children, Corrine LeCollier (Jason Alger) and Michael Claffey and step-grandchildren, Trista Alger and Zach Brennan, as well as her Mother June Swindle and Siblings, Nancy (Gord) Chow, Stephen (Connie) Swindle and Dave Blocksidge.
Maggie had an effervescent personality, was kind, caring and loving to all she met. In lieu of flowers or cards, the family requests a donation to the Canadian Cancer Foundation or to Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, where she spent her final 2 weeks. Maggie's loss is immeasurable in the lives of many but she has finally found peace. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
