With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anita on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the age of 74.  After a lengthy 30 year battle with heart disease. Devoted mother to Kim (Mark), Stephan, Mark, Chris (Charlene). Doting Babcia (Moomoo) to Ella, Julian, Grace, Alexis and Quinn, whom she adored more than anything else in the world.

Anita was immensely proud of her family and so were we of her. Her family was everything to her.
Anita was very proud of her Polish and French Canadian heritage, able to speak 3 languages. Sometimes all in the same conversation. She spread love and warmth through her passion of food and cooking. She adored traveling with her family, from sunny beach destinations with her grandchildren or Las Vegas with her sons where she loved the casinos and was often a lucky winner.

She loved music, shopping, scary movies and romance novels. She was a huge fan of Celine Dion, American Idol and Howard Stern. Even when she was feeling her worst, she could talk your ear off and never missed an opportunity for some dark humour or a good dirty joke.

Anita was the toughest person we knew and may have ever known. She fought her heart disease until the very last minute and tried every possible treatment available. What she endured is more than any person should ever have to. Her strength and attitude through it all awe-inspired her family each day. Her struggles are over and is now at peace, probably playing poker (and winning) with her parents and brothers. She was the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time)
She was loved immensely and left an impression on everyone she met. A true original.
