Carol Ann Lingohr passed away peacefully, and surrounded by love, with her husband at her side on October 1st, 2018 after a courageous 4-year fight with cancer.

Carol was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend who spent her life bringing joy to all. She was one of those rare people you couldn’t help but love. Carol was so uniquely comfortable with herself she radiated grace, kindness, and warmth. While it was only recently she adopted her ‘it is what it is’ motto, she lived her life by this creed.

Carol packed so much love and living into her 68 years as a cherished daughter to William and Henrietta (nee Leone) Carragher, and sister of Leslie ‘Skip’ (Stewart) and Bill. Beloved wife of Rudolf Lingohr, cherished mother of Erika (Bryan) and Alexandra (Shannon), proud ‘Grammy’ of Tyler And Mackenzie, and treasured friend to all who shared her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank all those who loved her for their friendship and support. They would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the medical team at Southlake Health Centre for their commitment and compassion, and to the loving staff at the Margaret Bahen Hospice for their care and comfort at the end.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Newmarket's Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home on Friday, October 12, 2018, between 4 and 7 pm. If desired, donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Margaret Bahen Hospice (myhospice.ca).
