Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 11, 2023 in the town of Newmarket Ontario in her 104th year. She was born in British Guyana on September 1, 1920. She is predeceaced by her parents Captain William Charles Henry Mattheson and Jane Zerida Allicock Mattheson. Predeceased by siblings Ashmore, Evelyn, Fred, Irving, Margaret, Percival, George and Thelma. Survived by brother Ivan.
Predeceased by husbands Carl Bradshaw, George O. Airhart and Phillip Cabenda.
Survived by daughter Gwendolyn and sons George (Joan) and Phil.
Grandmother to James (Jacqui), Janice, Jennifer, Adam (Samantha), Amy (Victor), Sarah and Quinn.
Great grandmother to Justice (Katie), Jessandra, Jyles, Logan, James, Lucas, Julia and Charlie.
Beloved aunt and great aunt to many.
Marjorie has lived in Guyana, the USA and Canada. She also lived in Japan when her second husband was stationed there with the US Army.
She eventually settled in Markham, Ontario and enjoyed quality family time with extended family. Her home was always open to welcome family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Taylor Funeral Home on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
