1964 – 2024
Departed from the physical plane gracefully with her spouse Karthik Raj at her side, on Monday, January 1st, 2024 at the age of 59 years. Barb Bushe of Madoc ON, formerly Newmarket ON, beloved partner of 15 years to Karthik Raj. Dear sister of Gervase Bushe Jr. and Allan Bushe. Predeceased by her parents Gervase Bushe and Janine Bushe.
Barb worked for many years in the financial industry in Toronto and later, was the founder of the Point of Light Store & Centre in Newmarket, where she worked alongside her spouse Karthik Raj. After 9 very fulfilling years, in June 2021 the store was gracefully brought to a close and Barb and Karthik moved to out to the countryside, to pursue a life of homesteading in an ecologically friendly home in Madoc. These last few years, Barb lived to pursue harmony with nature, surrounded by majestic wildlife, while she worked towards self sustainability and right sharing.
Barb was a seeker on the spiritual path, always trying to better herself and bring about the best in her. She shared her spiritual journey with a chosen few, but was always keen on helping those who sought her help, for them to learn and grow along the spiritual path. She taught courses and hosted monthly full moon meditations and retreats.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at the Temperance Hall, Sharon Temple, 18974, Leslie Street Sharon, ON on Monday January 8th at 4pm.
