Vivienne Blake, passed away peacefully at Bradford Valley Long Term Care in Bradford on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at 93 years of age. Loving wife of the late Henry "Cupe." Beloved mother of Barb (Dave), Brenda (John) and the late Bobby (Renee). Proud grandmother of Colin, Lisa, Taylor, Jeff, Daniel, Ada-Leigh and Lacey. Cherished great grandmother of Ryan, Brody, Madelyn, Julia, Carter, Lileigh, Abi, Myles, Sonny, Barrett and Reeve; and great-great grandmother of Valeriya.
Much loved sister of Marilynn and Ardyth (Paul) and daughter of the late Harry and Madeleine Crooks.
Vivienne was an avid euchre player and a devoted puzzler. In addition to her love for games, she was a back catcher in a local baseball league. She had an uncanny ability to light up a room with her infectious smile and warm presence, instantly putting a smile on the faces of those around her. She was truly the life of the party and her presence was always cherished and adored by her loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 11, 2023 from 12-1 p.m. at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. Please join the family in celebrating Vivienne’s life in our reception room following the service.
