It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Harry Zygmunt Bilof on October 12, 2023, at the age of 81. He leaves behind his loving wife Marie of 43 years, his dear son David (Lisa), and his beloved grandchildren Rebekah, Samuel, Joseph, Gabriel, Sarah and Hannah. He is survived by his brother George (Jane) and predeceased by his brother Richard and his parents Zigmunt and Helene. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Harry was born in Poland and spent his early years in a refugee camp in England before he immigrated to Canada. He was a cross-country runner who received a full scholarship to the University of Wyoming where he was co-captain of his long-distance running team. Harry spent many years coaching baseball and hockey for his son David’s teams. He enjoyed travelling with his wife and son and they shared many fond memories of road trips across the United States and Canada. He spent the last years of his life enjoying spending time with his six grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace.
