It is with deep sadness that we wish to inform family and friends of the passing of Julia Andrew (nee Basil) on October 18th, 2022 at the age of 94. Julia is survived by her daughter Jo Anne Nicholson and her children Katrina and Kyle. Her son Jeff Schwaabe and his wife Brenda. Her sister Angie Abdelnour (late) and her husband Lloyd (late) and family. Her brother's Harry Basil and Jerry Basil and his wife Carol and family. Her step-daughter's Erica Wells and family and Gina Nowicki and her husband Richard and family. The family would like to express deepest thanks to all of the staff at River Glen Haven Nursing Home and Sunrise of Richmond Hill. A Celebration of Julia's life will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 1 to 4 pm with Words of Remembrance at 2pm at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket, 905-898-2100.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Society or World Vision.
