Lillian passed away after a long illness on Sunday, December 30, 2023 in her 91st year. Daughter of the late Barbara and John Greenshields of Toronto. Predeceased by her sister Grace and brothers Jack and Howie.
Loving mother of Suzanne (Dave), Gordon, Debra (Bill), Ronald and Lisa (Bob). Proud grandmother of Tommy, David, Laurie, Keri, Jennifer, Jason (Jenn), Nicholas, David, Leslie (Carlos), and Julie (Eric). Lillian was also the great grandmother of ten and great great grandmother of two.
Lillian will be remembered for her love of family picnics, travelling, spontaneous fun, knitting ugly sweaters, and her generosity and helpfulness to her many friends.
The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of Southlake Village Residential Care Village who cared for Lillian over the past seven years.
Lillian’s family will be hosting a celebration of life at Taylor Funeral Home on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
