Outline your background/experience (100-word limit):

I've been a trustee since 2003. I have served as Vice Chair of the board as well as chairing several committees such as Board Standing, Budget, Audit, Negotiations Advisory,  Property Management and Special Education. I have served on all the other committees as well. I have a great working relationship with senior staff my fellow trustees. We have implemented a new multi year strategic plan which will help our board move forward.

Explain why you are the best qualified candidate. (100-word limit):

Experience matters. That is why I'm the best candidate for trustee. I have helped hundreds of families and resolved their in school issues. I resolve their issues in a very timely matter. 

What are the two most important issues for your ward/constituents? (200-word limit):

1 Continuing to ensure mental health and wellbeing is kept at the forefront

2. Championing equity and inclusivity. Helping students succeed

What will you do to ensure you are accountable to your constituents? (50-word limit):

I'm available anytime by phone or email. If someone has a problem or concern I will make sure it gets dealt with by the appropriate staff. I get results. 

When I served as a Councillor in the past, I would provide residents frequent and detailed updates of town events

What is the most important issue for council/school board to address in the next term? (100-word limit):

Continue to work on building relationships with the community. Student and staff mental health and wellbeing.  Empower ethical relationships.  Ensure the proper sex ed is being delivered to our students. Continue with the director's annual plan and the board improvement plan for student achievement. 

Describe your dream project that would result in a better quality of life in Newmarket. (100-word limit):

Having all students succeed and graduate.
