Newmarket's free outdoor concerts series at Riverwalk Commons kicks off this Thursday with the Eagles tribute band Hotel California.
The TD Music Series runs every Thursday from July 7 to Sept. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. featuring local performers and a premier tribute band at the bandshell at 200 Doug Duncan Dr.
Here's the line-up to date:
- July 7, Hotel California (the original Eagles tribute); opening The Beresfords;
- July 14, Dwayne Gretzky (bringing to life the greatest songs of all time); opening Aysanabee;
- July 21, Wannabe (a Spice Girls tribute); opening Bianca Rollo Band;
- July 28, Green River Revival (tribute to Creedance Clearwater Revival & John Fogerty); opening Bernadette Connors;
- Aug. 4, Fleetwood Mac Mania (tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks); opening Lacey Hill;
- Aug. 11, Exodus (a tribute to Bob Marley); opening Lyle Kam;
- Aug. 18, ABBA Revisited (a tribute to ABBA); opening Blush;
- Aug. 25, Blushing Brides (a tribute to the Rolling Stones); opening Glenn Marais and the Mojo Train;
- Sept. 1, Sounds of Motown (greatest songs of the Motown era); opening David Toms.
