Newmarket-Aurora MPP Dawn Gallagher Murphy is inviting the community to a barbecue and corn roast in Newmarket Sunday.
On Oct. 16 between 2 and 4 p.m., Gallagher Murphy will be hosting the event at Riverwalk Commons. The event is a celebration of the season and a thank you for the support the community has given her.
"Autumn is finally here and I absolutely love being outdoors. It’s great to spend time within my community mingling with the many people I have already come to know and be able to meet new people in Newmarket-Aurora," she said.
The barbecue will feature free food, face painting, music, a photo booth, giveaways and more.
If you are able to, Gallagher Murphy is asking attendees to bring donations for the food banks in Newmarket and Aurora.
