The members of parliament and the attendees have also together watched the Asian Heritage Month Virtual Celebration 2021 production by The Ministry of Canadian Heritage. This event strengthens the community and reinforces the Government of Canada’s commitment toward a zero-discriminatory, inclusive and diverse Canada.
“This year's theme for Asian Heritage Month is: Recognition, Resilience, and Resolve. It is our great honour to celebrate this special occasion with the communities. We are so grateful for Asian-Canadians' accomplishment in the country, for their resilient spirit during the challenging time for the past year, and we are always here for Asian-Canadians as we fight against racism and discrimination of all forms, and continue to build a better and more inclusive Canada for everyone.” - York Region Liberal Caucus
