Women in business can now apply now for the tailored leadership training program offered by the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Scotiabank.

"Whatever career stage you’re at, there’s a place for you in the W.I.L.D. (Women in Leadership Development) program," the chamber stated..

The W.I.L.D program is kicking off with two micro-credential Mastermind groups, with each six-week group session consisting of foundational information to support women leaders and strengthen female-led companies.

W.I.L.D. is open to all women within the chamber's member organizations.

You can apply here.

As well as the W.I.L.D. micro-credential program, the chamber will launch a new women's networking event this fall and begin highlighting women-owned and led businesses, chamber chair Seana Fardy said at the program announcement earlier this summer.

W.I.L.D. will be the chamber's permanent Mastermind series for women in business, Fardy added.

The six-week intensive program will focus on self-assessment, sales and marketing, finances, wellness in the workplace and goal setting, before winding up with a team-building session at Unbridled Leadership, equine assisted leadership.

Also coming, the chamber website will feature an online connections hub that will pair mentors, mentees and individuals willing to share subject matter expertise, Fardy added.
