What’s Open:

Most malls and shopping centres are open on Good Friday and Easter Monday, including Upper Canada Mall (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Promenade Shopping Mall (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Vaughan Mills (open Easter Sunday), Tanger Outlet (10 a.m. to 6 p.m., select stores open Easter Sunday), CF Markville Mall (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Hillcrest Mall (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.). 

Magna Centre is open Good Friday, but fitness classes are cancelled.

Newmarket Public Library is closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Most grocery stores are closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but some may be open on reduced hours.

Municipal recreation and fitness centres, including the Magna Centre, are closed Easter Sunday and Monday. Ray Twinney Complex is also closed Good Friday.

Most LCBO and Beer stores are closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday, some may open for reduced hours Easter Monday.

Federal government offices; Canada Post will not collect and deliver mail Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Most banks close Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday.
