VIDEO: Someone is about to win the largest-ever Lotto 6/49 jackpot

What's it like to actually pocket such a massive cash prize? Juliette Lamour can tell you

On Wednesday, someone is guaranteed to win the largest-ever jackpot in Lotto 6/49 history — a cool $68-million.

The guaranteed prize is the result of a new Gold Ball format introduced last year.

"It’s going to be an exciting few days," said Tony Bitonti, a spokesman for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

What's it like to actually win such a massive cash prize? Juliette Lamour can definitely tell you.

Earlier this year, the 18-year-old university student from Sault Ste. Marie famously won $48-million — on the very first Lotto 6/49 ticket she ever purchased.

After the cheque presentation on Feb. 3, she sat down for an exclusive interview with Inside the Village, a news podcast produced by Village Media.

“I called my mom and I was crying," she said. "I didn’t really know how to react, but I was crying, I was scared. I’m like: ‘Mom, I won the lottery!’ She couldn’t understand. She said: ‘What?’ I said: ‘I won the lottery.’ She’s like: ‘No you didn’t!”

Lamour shared the details of her unbelievable stroke of luck: what motivated her to buy that ticket, the precise moment her life changed forever, and what she plans to do with such an enormous amount of money.

She also talked about a now-famous childhood photograph that made the local news years before her big win: a picture of Lamour and her little sister donating the contents of their pink piggy bank to earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

Someone is about to know exactly how she feels. Could it be you?

In the meantime, you can watch our full interview with Lamour HERE.
