A Vegas-style waterfront fountain show is on tap for the Canadian National Exhibition.
The end-of-summer tradition, the CNE, kicks off on Aug. 18 and will run until Sept. 4 and will include a multitude of events, including Sparking Symphony, which is a daily choreographed spectacle on Lake Ontario that combines high-energy music with 11 dancing fountains that send water up to 100 feet in the air and colour-changing lights and lasers to illuminate the show at night.
Also among the events at CNE will be a skating show featuring Canadian champion Elvis Stojko.
Stojko and other skaters will be performing twice daily at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in a show that's appearing at the event for the first time since 2018.
Konterschwung, acrobats from Switzerland, will also be performing at CNE.
