Stouffville line GO train service will be temporarily suspended between Kennedy GO and Union Station this weekend, April 6 and 7, to allow for critical track work along the corridor.

Stouffville line trains will continue to run every hour between Old Elm and Kennedy GO stations during this time, Metrolinx said in an email.

The construction is for track integration on the east section of the Union Station rail corridor for the Ontario Line. Metrolinx will also be testing and commissioning railway infrastructure.

Customers can use the TTC to travel between Kennedy GO and Union Station. Riders wishing to travel direct into Union Station can take Barrie line trains.

Regular service will resume Monday, April 8.

Riders can transfer for free with One Fare between GO Transit and TTC. You can use gotransit.com or triplinx.ca to plan your trips. The GO Transit Service Updates page has service details in real-time.
