Richmond Hill holding 2 job fairs for part-time positions

No registration required for the City of Richmond Hill job fairs on Sept. 12 and 14

The City of Richmond Hill is hosting two job fairs for a wide variety of part-time opportunities Sept 12 and 14. 

Drop by and speak to staff about the positions being filled now and over the coming months. You can bring your resume or fill out an application on site.

For select roles, interviews will be held on the spot. Registration is not required.

The job fairs are Tuesday, Sept. 12  from 3 to 7 p.m. at Elgin West Community Centre, 11099 Bathurst St., and Thursday, Sept. 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at McConaghy Centre, 10100 Yonge St.

Available positions include:

  • facility attendant I
  • facility attendant II
  • aquatic lifeguards
  • aquatic swim instructors
  • skate instructors
  • skate patrol
  • fitness instructors
  • fitness coaches
  • fitness consultants
  • ushers
  • usher supervisors
  • duty managers
  • volunteers
  • inclusion support staff
  • outdoor adventure staff
  • sports dome program monitors and sports conveners
  • program monitor (adult pickleball drop-ins)
  • program instructor (basketball and volleyball)
  • school crossing guards.

The city offer competitive pay, flexible working hours and extras like fitness memberships and health and wellness programs, according to a City of Richmond Hill news release.

"Many people who began with the City of Richmond Hill in similar part-time roles have gone on to wonderful careers in the organization, including in human resources, communications, parks, fire services, recreation management, community standards and at the theatre. This could be your first step on a successful career path," the city states.
