She won a Maxmillions prize worth $1 million in the Oct. 11 Lotto Max draw.

Shibley said she is a regular lottery player.

“I love Lotto Max – and I always choose my own numbers,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

The retiree said she discovered her win while checking her ticket at the store.

“I saw a lot of zeroes and thought, whoa, that’s cool! I feel so grateful and just fantastic!”

Shibley shared the news with her daughter, who didn’t believe her at first. “She is very happy for me now.”
