Leading up to Mother’s Day, State and Main is helping families celebrate Mom while fundraising for a great local cause. Through its third annual For Mom, For Women campaign, State and Main is donating $10 to Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie for every fulfilled Mother’s Day reservation between May 4 and May 12 at all State and Main locations.
The campaign will raise funds for non-profits that support women in their communities.
The campaign, which is taking place in 24 cities across Canada, aims to raise a total of $40,000 for deserving organizations. In Barrie, State and Main is partnering with Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie, a crisis shelter that helps 1,000 women and children annually. In support, information about violence against women, referrals to other communities and social services and public education in the community.
“This year, we are proud to be celebrating the third annual For Mom, For Women campaign, aimed at recognizing and giving back to the women who make our communities thrive," says Richard Homer-Dixon, vice-president and State and Main brand leader. "We acknowledge the crucial role that mothers play as silent heroes in our communities. As a gesture of our appreciation, we want to support local organizations that help women flourish and make our cities better places to live.”

State and Main has one restaurant location in Barrie. Mother’s Day reservations often fill quickly, so it’s recommended that guests book as early as possible. Guests who want to participate in this campaign can make reservations from May 4 to May 12 through State & Main’s website.
