Polo for Heart marks 43rd year of supporting Southlake cardiac care

Polo For Heart brings international polo games to York Region on June 24 for its 43rd year in support of advanced cardiac care at the Southlake Regional Health Centre.

The Rosé Polo Classic presented by Bread & Butter wines Saturday, June 24 features a traditional day at polo, with options to buy a table, individual pavilion brunch ticket or a Mallet Grille barbecue ticket. 

As well as the chance to get up close to the majestic and powerful polo ponies, you can enjoy: Horse and Hounds; a Western riding demonstrations and opportunity meet the majestic horses; silent auction; boutiques; live music and entertainment; and high tea with strawberries and cream.

General admission, with picnic table and bleacher seating overlooking the International Polo Stadium, includes two polo matches, half-time entertainment, shopping, kids activities more. Tickets, $40 adult, $20 child age 12 and under (includes picnic barbecue lunch) must be purchased in advance and are not available at the gate. Due to licensing, outside food or alcohol are not permitted. Cash bars are available onsite.

Reserved tables of eight, $3,250, in the exclusive Polo Pavilion overlooking the polo stadium, include two polo matches, a gourmet lunch, sparkling mimosas, wine and beer, half time entertainment, live music, shopping and silent auction, from noon to 5 p.m. Individual lunch tickets are $150.

Polo for Heart takes place from noon to 5 p.m. at the Toronto Polo Club, 13561 Leslie St., Richmond Hill.
