Police Service Dog Nitro is getting national exposure.
Nitro and his handler Constable Shawn Gwilliam are featured in the latest edition of the Pet Valu magazine 'Companion.' The magazine is being displayed in over 1,000 stores across Canada and is available online.
The Pet Valu store in Bradford is an important community partner for Nitro and Gwilliam.
Franchise owners Bob and Liz Pegg sponsor Nitro with a lifetime of Performatrin food, as they have done for 20 years with past South Simcoe Police Service dogs.
Nitro is the first canine officer to be profiled in the publication.
