Newmarket's graduating students can apply now for $1K Give Back awards

2020 Neighbourhood Network Give Back Awards applications are now open!

Neighbourhood Network is not-for-profit division of Magna International Inc. that multiplies community giving and creates caring and vibrant neighbourhoods by promoting volunteerism, linking resources, and supporting local charities and agencies.

The Give Back Awards are an annual $1,000 cash prize awarded to 20 graduating students from high schools in Aurora, Georgina, King Township, and Newmarket. The awards are presented to students who have demonstrated an outstanding dedication to community involvement!

Give Back Awards applications are now open until 4 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020. All winners will be celebrated at the Give Back Awards ceremony at the Magna head office during National Volunteer Week.

“What I love the most about the Give Back Awards is celebrating such different students from all walks of life across the Region, but who are all united in their efforts to make our communities a better place,” says Erin Cerenzia, manager of Neighbourhood Network. "They inspire us each year to step up and give back!”
