NewmarketToday photographer Greg King has been patiently following the antics and trials of a beaver on the Holland River in Newmarket.
For more than a month, he has tracked the beaver's efforts to chew down a tree, which was stalled both by an injury and the frozen river.
When the arduous and drawn-out endeavour was finally completed, it was somewhat anti-climatic — rather than falling with a snap, the tree slowly bent over the course of days.
