You can have a chance at winning $500 while supporting local youth by buying a ticket for the Newmarket Veterans' Association weekly draw.
The veterans association is opening its weekly $500 draw to the public, which offers you 10 chances to win $500 for the price of $5.
"And, if you do win one of the weekly draws, your ticket goes back in the bin for more chances to win during the 10-week event," said organizer Beverley Stuckless.
Proceeds from the ticket sales go to Newmarket Veterans' Association-sponsored bursaries and youth organizations.
You have until Jan. 27 to buy tickets, either in person at the Newmarket Veterans' Association at 406 Millard Ave. or by e-transfer to [email protected] (security answer Veteran), and include your address and phone number by personal message to Beverley Stuckless to receive photographs of your tickets once the e-transfer has been received.
