Looking for flowers for mom? Young sisters and philanthropists Manha and Laiba Yusuf are selling planters and fruit boxes in their Mother's Day fundraiser.

The young sisters are raising funds for their Stamp Out Stigma for Mental Health campaign, as well to provide free tutoring in reading and math, library access to reading materials, and fresh fruits, veggies and produce.

The services are available for free to anyone who is low income, homeless, youth at risk, single mothers and fathers, seniors and anyone else in need.

The girls have received a $1,000 grant from the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, as well as two other small grants to help with their campaign. Now they are hoping to raise $2,000 to fund these programs from May through to August.

You can place your order online now for a large planter for $50 or a large fruit basket for $60. Pickup of both items will take place on May 6 and May 7.

So far the girls have received enough orders that they are half way to their goal and they hope to raise the other half in the next couple of weeks.
