Newmarket residents can cool off at the Riverwalk Commons once again as the town’s water feature is opening up.
The warmer weather prompted the town to open up the Mercedes-Benz Water Feature May 2. Families can now enjoy splashing around in the water area during the daytime, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The town said the water feature will close early on days when events take place at the Riverwalk Commons. That will include 3 p.m. every Thursday in July and August, for the TD Newmarket Music Series.
The town asked users to “be courteous and share the space with the community.”
The feature will be open every day throughout the spring and summer, weather permitting.
